The world is going in so many different directions.

Uneducated wanna-be's "playing" with magick, governments doing atomic testing still, people de-evolving mentally and emotionally, damage to the human gene pool through ingesting pesticides, chemicals, genetically engineered foods, hormone injected meats, milk and eggs, people clinging to co-dependent relationships with other people and things (materialism at it's worse).

There is a bright spot - there will be a cleansing and a shift in the consciousness, but there will be those who will suffer. There will be those who will blame their suffering on Satan, on those who choose joy, on everyone and everything but themselves.

The "end times" are soon to come - but it is not the Biblical Prophecy that I and many others were raised to believe - at least = it will not be that way for all, only those who accept and expect and therefore manifest that into their lives.

Consciousness is shifting, but many are too afraid to see the new reality that is about to unfold. Those who see the destruction on the Ethereal Plane have been working with those Enlightened to magnify the power and strength of healing and peace to the planet. But since the planet is a living organism that vibrates to our energy - there is a lot of healing to do, and not all healing will be without pain, suffering and sacrifice.

As I sit here this morning, drinking coffee, going over my to-do list for the day, and trying to wake up, I am reminded of the events that have been unfolding before us in the Ethereal plan. Time is more than a concept; it is part of the mathematical equation that is the universe. As the time of next phase in human physical and spiritual evolution approaches we are bringing to an end those things that will no longer serve us. However; with the collective consciousness of man being so advanced technologically and more removed from our connection to the Earth - which direction shall we choose?

Many people have been choosing not to complete their path at this time and are opting to step off onto another path. This is not unusual - it happened during the last shift in consciousness in the 60's. That was a small shift in the human evolution of awareness within our universe. We had many of these small shifts for about 400 to 500 years. What is unusual is the number of souls doing so at the same time. This is because what is to come is the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. That being said; there are others who are stepping onto a path that was not originally theirs, but has in anything -when there is an opening, those who are willing, who have the talents or are willing to develop the talents are stepping in. 

The pull towards ones soul path and reconciling the physical needs during an incarnation is part of our journey. The confusion of ones awakening to the abilities of the souls power/purpose can be, to say the least, somewhat mentally and emotionally overwhelming. This is especially intense when souls have succumbed to the vulnerabilities of the physical body; influenced by modern technology, cultural influences as well as reconciling our nature and nurture.

The time between 2009 and 2012 is the time when we will determine our destiny for the next evolution of man. An awakening and a quickening is at hand. Time, as you know, is beginning to speed up. There are several reasons for this, but the one that concerns most of us who travel the Ethereal is the loss of the indigenous Spirit Walkers. 

For centuries, the indigenous men and women around the world who were/are the Shamans, Medicine Men/Women, Witch Doctors, Sages, etc have been holding the Earth and our humanity in balance; working in the Ethereal for the last 400 years. This work began so long ago to build up knowledge and energy for the "things to come". Unfortunately, the modern world has invaded and contaminated almost all of these indigenous cultures influencing the young men and women to seek modern technology and knowledge. The result is that the parents of the children in these cultures have not been encouraging their children to take up apprenticing and learning the old ways like they once did. Knowledge, dialects, and entire languages are being lost. There have been fewer souls for the Shaman's to hand this knowledge down to; to mentor/teach. Some are returning to learn the old ways as adults; as they are becoming aware of their calling or coming to their awakening now. Some are choosing by free will not to complete there soul path and continue on their journey away from their culture because it is the life that they are most comfortable in. 

The changes are coming soon - and there have been a lot of people "playing" with magick and making a right mess of things in the etheral plane as well as the mundane world. Wanna be witches that buy those "how-to" books on magick and witchcraft, messing with things they know very little about and making tons of work for those of us who have to clean up their mess!

I will offer a warning to those children who are playing with things they know nothing about - boy is is all going to come back to bite you in the ass - big time! The times of reckoning have been upon us for several years now - each in it's phase. Those who's time to choose have come have made their choice and set those wheels in motion. Those who's time to choose is coming, have a much more difficult path to follow, and those of us who's job it is to support and "help" them have been working on our path, clearing the way as we have been shown to, as those who are directed to us, come into our lives.

The times - they are changing.

I've been a Witch for a bit over 30 years. My path is that of my maternal line passed down to the cousins and myself through our Grandmother and by bits and pieces through our Mothers. One thing I have learned is - I am always learning and should continue to learn as long as I walk this Earth and even afterwards.

My maternal Great-Grandmother brought her traditions with her from Great Britian and into the Appalachian region, passing her knowledge to my Grandmother and her sister. My Mother and her 2 sisters came of age in the late 30's and during WWII and wanting to be "modern girls" like those they saw in movies and magazines of the time, they dismissed their Mother's ways as "old fashioned" and "back woods".

However, as the 3 sisters married and raised their children, they incorporated a lot of the "old ways" into their housekeeping routines. Holidays always had a bit of the Pagan ways thrown in, things were done "a certain way" to keep out bad spirits, bring good luck, or to celebrate the season with certain traditional foods and cleaning rituals. Being that Chrisitianity and Pagan traditions blended well in Appalachia, many of what my Mother and her sisters did, did not seem out of place - just traditions and superstitions handed down with recipes, home remedies, and sage advise. My Great-Grandmother was called a "Granny Woman", as she did mid-wifery as well as made charms, removed warts, scry, etc. My Grandmother did not have a "title", but did some of the same things, though she didn't mid-wife.

So this is me, and I look forward to continuing on the path of my ancestors being eve open to learning new things. FYI - my name - Full Moon Woman was given to me by an astrologer friend. We don't do craft names, and I am not a member of a coven - my path is solitary.

When I go into the Ethereal & sit upon the banks for the stream of consciousness' that flows through the universe, I see a natural rhythm and flow. But recently I have seen an increase in the pollution caused by amateur wanna-be Witches playing with magickal things that they do not understand.

I often am contacted by people who have made a mess of things, by using magick that they have picked up from books and off the Internet. Unfortunately there are too many books and Web sites that offer bogus information provided by yet other wanna-be's or people who see a buck in writing slick looking junk.

This is not to say there are not real good books and Web sites out there, there are. Unfortunately, there are many people who think Witchcraft, Wicca and using Magick is "cool" and play about with things that they know so little if anything about. A few learn from their mistakes, but not all of them do. Unfortunately many of these people often mess with the lives of others.
What I've seen is when things get to be a real mess, there are those who calm the chaos and clear the way. It is often in those times that it seems that things are most chaotic for people, especially for who are sensitive to these matters. There is a balance to the universe so the scales to not tip too far to one end for very long.

I have learned that there are those with the power and the purpose to keep a bit of order to the universe. I've also seen how the chaos that happens in the Ethereal does most of the damage in our mundane world. Because people mess with the order of things, and no, not everything comes back to the person who throws the spell and there are many reasons for that - which I will not discuss here. Bottom line is that it is up to us, all of us who practice magick responsibly, to keep the balance as best we can.
